Keep your system, add what it lacks
Add only payroll or transport safety.
You can keep your current school system and add Opero for one job only: HR and Payroll, or Transport safety. Transport safety records every learner boarding and getting off, and a guardian confirms arrival. The add-ons are priced as a flat fee per term by school size, shown below.

Billed per term in week 3. These are the add-on fees on the card, which sells them on top of the base system (KSh 250 per learner per term). For an add-on on its own we quote in writing.
Honest about the current state
- No automatic sync with Zeraki, Mzizi or any other system. You load learners once and keep both lists current.
- Parent alerts by SMS or WhatsApp need your own provider account and are not on by default.
- Opero is a web app you can install from the browser. There is no native phone app yet.
Questions
Will it connect to my current system?
No automatic link today. You load your learners once from a spreadsheet, and when a learner joins or leaves you update both. That is the honest cost of running two systems.
What does Transport safety do?
Staff set up routes, stops and vehicles. The driver records boarding and drop-off for each learner. A drop-off waits for the guardian to acknowledge arrival in the parent portal. A trip cannot be closed while a learner is unaccounted for unless an authorised person records a reason. It strengthens accountability; it does not guarantee safety.
What does HR and Payroll do?
Staff records, leave, salary structures and payroll runs where one person prepares and another approves. Your school or accountant supplies its own tax rates; Opero does not set them.
What is not ready?
SMS and WhatsApp alerts to parents go through your own provider account and are not on by default. A verified record that the vehicle is back at school is in development.
What does it cost without the base system?
The published card sells add-ons on top of the base system at KSh 250 per learner per term. We have not published a price for an add-on alone, so we give you one in writing before you decide.
